Food For Thought-"Purpose"

Here are the million dollar questions:

What is my purpose? Why am I here?

Purpose: the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.

Destiny: The inevitable or necessary fate to which a particular person or thing is destined; one's lot

Many people are often trying to find their “purpose” in life. Always searching but never finding what they’re looking for. Our purpose was implanted upon our creation. Every individual is a unique designer original created by God. Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. When an object is created, its function and how it works is included in the design. Once created it does not have to be sent off to find its purpose. If object when created does not operate according to the design it cannot be used.

While in college, I studied the laws of thermodynamics in chemistry. There are two types of energy, potential and kinetic. Potential energy is stored energy. For example when God created us, He gave us the power to operate in our purpose to fulfill our destiny. The purpose is there, but is not released. Kinetic energy is energy in motion. In order to be effective, you have to do something with the power you possess. The First Law of Thermodynamics says that energy under normal conditions cannot be created or destroyed, simply transformed from one type of energy to another. Your purpose cannot be recreated or destroyed; no one can take your purpose away from you. There are two types of systems, closed and opened. By a closed system what is meant is a system that is completely isolated from the rest of the universe, nothing could get in or out of the box. This is the tragedy of not operating in your purpose. Going through life not realizing your potential and not putting it to use. Open systems take in or capture matter and or energy from the surrounding environment fighting against entropy (chaos) by taking in matter and energy allowing them to stay organized. This is the power of an individual who realize their purpose and operates fully toward their destiny. Understanding that challenges are inevitable, yet not allowing it to hinder their purpose.

You already possess the skills, talents, and ability to operate in your God given purpose. What do you like to do? What are you good at? What would you do if you knew you would not fail? Everyone has the potential to be great!
Don’t be afraid to think and do the impossible!

Psalm 139:14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
